02 / The story

From Ghana to Hungary.

I grew up in Ghana, with roots in the Ashaiman-Zenu community and the Volta Region. Family, faith and community were the first ledgers I learned to keep, long before VAT returns entered the picture.

Today I manage international tax for one of the world's largest life-sciences companies from Budapest, serve as Secretary of the Rotary Club of Budapest-City, and run community ventures back home in Ghana.

Chess enthusiast

Away from the ledgers, I play chess. I have competed in the Ghana Chess League and still chase good positions wherever there is a board and a clock.

Tax work and chess reward the same habits: patience, pattern recognition, and thinking three moves ahead before you touch anything.
